2013 KAVALK SPORTRUNNER LAUNCHED
Ontario Canada – October, 2012 — Kazulin Boats has launched an all composite Kavalk runabout / yacht tender, the SportRunner 25. This is the first Kavalk since the early 80’s to be built entirely in fiberglass. Even though the wood deck Kavalks are desired and considered bijoux items, the all composite SportRunner opens the door for other demographics.
Instead of the usual molded-in gelcoat non-skid method used by other manufacturers, the 2013 Kavalk SportRunner 25 features an interesting deck material where the teak or mahogany can also be incorporated as in their Vamp and BelMaris SportRunner series.
“For years we have been using this particular non-skid material in our cockpits†says Tony Kazulin president of Kazulin Boats and head designer. “We developed a way to use it on our decks, and that it comes in various textures and colours makes it an even more personalized boat.â€
Entry into the SportRunner’s open cockpit is accessed via the low and wide transom swim step and sunpad. As with all Kavalks, the cockpit layouts, materials and colours are client specific as are the hull colours and engine packages.
Kazulin Boats enjoys direct contact with their clients because each boat represents not only the company but the owner’s individuality. Be it the SportRunner, or the wood deck SportRunners, the characteristics of superior design, quality construction, and performance are never compromised.
