Built by respected Canadian manufacturer Cooper Yachts, the Maple Leaf 48 is a hand-laid glass reinforced plastic hull sloop with a roomy 15' 6" beam. Teak is used extensively throughout the interior and the cockpit. She is beamy aft and it is well reported that she handles well in following seas. This is a heavy, sea-kindly, but reasonably fast cruising boat suitable for world traveling or coastal cruising.
