Ted Gozzard and partners developed the Bayfield 25 as the first of the Bayfield range of models. It had standing headroom, an inboard diesel engine and less than three feet of draught. In 1973, the Bayfield 30 (as the 32 was originally known) was launched and about 300 more followed that first 30 down the ways. The Bayfield 32 is a pure cruising boat, one that has held up well over the years.
Well proven and well respected, the Bayfield 32 is an excellent cruiser for the Graet Lakes with many having made the trip down the inter coastal. Beamy and stable with a high freeboard that makes her a solid vessel in almost all weather conditions. Huge below and built with plenty of teak and quality of construction.
This Bayflield 32 is an excellent example of these classic shoal keel cruisers. Yanmar diesel engine, full canvas, windlass, complete re-wiring, and refrigeration. Over $35,000 spent in upgrades since 2005! A notable feature of this vessel is the custom cabin mounted mainsheet system which removed the traditional cockpit traveler. She is a pleasure to show! Owner purchased a Bayfield 36 and need to sell this 32!
