The Hunter 33.5 remains a very popular model for Hunter Marine. The design vision was a very fast sailing boat that was easy to handle but still provided the space of a 37 footer down below. As with all Hunters, you get a lot of boat for the money.
The Hunter 33.5 is known to be agile and user friendly with her fractional-rig. Designed with a spacious, comfortable cockpit for entertaining, a walk through transom with swim platform for simple stern boarding from the dock. The interior is roomy and bright with an open floorplan, lots of headroom and storage space and a separate aft Cabin.
This vessel is in good condition and currently on the hard in Kingston, Ontario. It has not been launched since the bottom was completely stripped and epoxy coated in the spring of 2013. The keel was removed and reset at a cost of over $8000.00. A great layout, walk-off transom, wheel steering, lots of canvas and a separate aft cabin makes this a great boat for the money.
