Mechanical Equipment

Air conditioning is the Rotary Aire Climate Control System. The two HVAC zones are powered by 115V, 17,000 BTU cooling/heating units (Model RMNH). Each zone has a centrifugal sea water pump.

This yacht is equipped with Sleipner Sidepower 6HP  Bow and Stern Thrusters. The bow thruster had its wiring and propeller replaced. These are controlled from the bridge by Sleipner integrated joy sticks and from the lower helm station by a Sleipner hand-held power receiver. 

Sea water deck and anchor wash-down on foredeck. Hart Systems tank tenders for fuel, water and waste.

Fresh water hot/cold shower on transom.

Salon

The Salon is covered throughout with 70 ounce nylon carpet, combined with sound absorbing "Dura" underpad. There are 4 cushioned chairs and 3 stacking drum tables, all of bamboo. For entertainment, a Clarion M5675 AM/FM/CD player provides excellent sound in the Salon with a 12 disc CD changer and 2 CM1622 speakers. A Sharp Aquos 26" flat screen TV, comes equipped with Seatel Satellite controls. The windshield and side windows are equipped with remote controlled blinds and there are privacy screens for all portholes. 
The Salon includes the lower steering station with a King VHF 7000, Raypilot 650 Autopilot repeater, Raymarine Tridata ST60 depth/speed/temperature repeater.

Galley

The Galley is an excellent area with lots of counter and storage space. The stove is a Seaward 3 Burner Electric (Princess Model 3342).   The refrigerator/freezer is a Norcold, model DE828. The faucet set for the double sinks was updated (along with the other faucets on board). There is an extensive inventory of flatware, dishes and cutlery. A Nimbus drinking water filter system has also been installed. The dinette table can be lowered to seat height to create a double berth.

Sleeping Quarters

The master and forward staterooms are fitted with custom mattresses, covers, linens, blankets and pillows for the bunks. There is a Queen bed in the master stateroom and an upper double bunk and lower single bunk in the forward stateroom. Both staterooms have plenty of storage in hanging closets and drawers.

Fly-Bridge

The fly-bridge is covered with an all-welded stainless steel frame and a rigid balsa cored fiberglass hardtop and 12 zippered windows, 4 with exchangeable screens. The windows are constructed of 'Stamoid' fabric and 40 gauge 'Strataglass'. The windows provide protection in all weather and 360 degree visibility. The fly-bridge comfortably seats 8 people plus the helmsman. The windshield is sloped forward in the 'Norwegian' style to provide substantial sun and glare protection. 

The helm station is fully equipped with all the necessary navigation and communication electronics. These include a Differential GPS RX Beacon, 10" R41XX Radar with a 24 mile range, Raychart 601XX, Raypilot 650 Auto pilot, Tridata ST60 depth/speed/temperature display, Rotavector ST60 wind speed/direction indicator, VHF/Hailer Ray 220 with remote handset, Bow and Stern Thruster controls, Sea-Tel Satellite TV Antenna dome and remote controls for a pulpit mounted Jabsco 7-inch Spot/Floodlight. 

There is storage in custom-made mahogany lockers under the custom retractable navigation desk with room for books. There are 2 speakers connected to the audio system located in the Salon. 

After Deck

The Aft Deck also provides all weather protection with windows identical to those on the Fly-Bridge. The two exits to the decks are fitted with 'Phantom' spring-loaded retractable screen doors. There is a control panel for the 'Paradox Esprit' Intruder Alarm system, with motion sensors on the aft deck, the main salon and the bridge.

Engine Room

Twin Ford-Lehman 135 HP six cylinder Diesel Engines are controlled by Maters Micro Commander Single Lever Electronic Controls at both upper and lower helm stations. Alternate power for the controls is provided by the Genset battery.

Transmissions are Borg Warner Velvet Drives with reduction ratio of 2.5/1.

 The Engine Room bilges, wherever accessible have been cleaned and painted with epoxy gelcoat. The overhead lights are protected by explosion proof shield fixtures, and the batteries have roll-over retainers. Four HD batteries are charged by a Westerbeke 7.7KW Genset (sound boxed) with its own dedicated battery and echo-charger. There are two in-line diesel fuel pumps, an 18 gallon Hot Water tank and a fresh water pump.
