Description

Wingaway II is an Iconic West Coast sailboat with a rich history that blends all the attributes of a new boat with the strength, grace and beauty of the original breakthrough boat of C&C Yachts. She is a proven sailing performer over the years, and with her current owner was the first boat to finish overall in the 2013 Straits Race. She is comfortable and forgiving to sail, and can jump to seven knots with just the headsail, and easily cruises at six and a half knots under power.

Her interior is well organized, comfortable, and has ample storage space throughout, making her a great cruising boat.  She comes fully equipped and includes lots of extras.

Wingaway’s owner is a professional Shipwright, and has kept her up to date with constant and extensive updates and upgrades over the past eight years, such as repowering her with a new 55 hp Volvo Penta marine engine in 2010, new main sail in 2014, four oversized cockpit winches, furling headsail, oversized anchor windlass in 2015, 120V AC hot water in 2016, and forced air diesel heat in 2016. She comes with a 9’ AB dingy and a 4 hp Yamaha outboard, both new in 2015.  All this results in a lovingly owned and well cared for vessel, turn key and ready for her new owners.

She comes with transferable moorage at the beautiful Union Steam Ship Marina on Bowen Island, close to excellent cruising grounds and offering excellent protection through the winter months.
